Pixi recently introduced new on-the-glow bronzers, and here’s the scoop on them. I’m a huge fan of their fantastic on-the-glow blushers (shoutout to shade Fleur!), so I was super pumped when these bronzers showed up at my door. I received two shades out of the four available: Softglow and Warmglow. These bronzers have a dewy, glowy texture that gives a subtle hint of color. Unlike heavily pigmented stick bronzers, these provide a more natural flush and glow to your skin. They are perfect for summer and vacations when you want your skin to shine through with minimal makeup. I recommend using them over a tinted moisturizer or lightweight base for the best results.
These on-the-glow bronzers are a blend of skincare and makeup, infused with antioxidants, vitamins, oils, Aloe Vera, ginseng, and fruit extracts. You can apply them on your cheeks and lips for touch-ups, dewy skin, minimal makeup looks, skin enhancement, and a hint of color. They come in twist-up sticks for easy and quick application. While they cover a large surface area when applied directly, you can always turn them sideways for a more targeted application or use your fingertips to blend them out. I prefer swiping them directly on and blending with my fingertips; they are quite forgiving and easy to work with. Remember to wipe them clean when needed to maintain hygiene.
The Pixi on-the-glow SoftGlow offers a light bronze sheen, more like a highlighter than a bronzer. It adds a sun-kissed glow, especially for those with fair skin tones. This shade can also be applied on areas like collarbones, décolletage, and legs for a bronze-highlight effect. On the other hand, the Pixi on-the-glow Warmglow has a peach-bronze tone, similar to a subtle blush. It provides a gentle glow and hint of color to the skin. The other two shades, RichGlow and Beachglow, appear warmer and more intense, suitable for warmer skin tones or those desiring a bolder bronze look.
These Pixi on-the-glow bronzers are priced at £18 and are currently available on pixibeauty.co.uk and Sephora UK. Remember, this post contains PR samples and affiliate links.
